Pets could be purr-fect workmates

TAKING the family pet to work could relieve stress and lift productivity, an Australian recruitment company said today.

A survey by Talent2 found 14 per cent of the 1,000 business respondents from around the country believed pets in the workplace were a good idea and 25 per cent said it would reduce their stress levels.

But only 3 per cent of businesses actually allowed pets at work, Talent2 manager of finance accounting Shane Abood said.
